Celebrating 100 years, The Walt Disney Company was founded in October 1923 by Walt Disney and his brother Roy O. Disney. The coin’s reverse portrays a coloured hexagonal Disney 100 logo in the centre with round icons surrounding it that all represent major motion pictures and franchises created by Disney. Included on the reverse are the inscriptions ‘Disney 100’, along with The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The obverse features Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II supplemented by the dates of her reign ‘1952-2022’.
