The reverse brings together two faces of Día de los Muertos: a woman painted as a traditional calavera beside a skull. The coin is ennobled with black ruthenium and vivid colour, drawing the eye across the detailed design, while inscriptions record its weight and purity. On the obverse, Mexico’s coat of arms shows an eagle with a snake, encircled by the words “Estados Unidos Mexicanos”.

Ennobling and care

This is a 1 oz .999 silver Libertad struck by La Casa de Moneda de México and independently ennobled by a private mint after striking. The black-ruthenium plating and colourisation are post-mint modifications, not an official government-mint coloured release.

The ennobled finish is delicate. Keep the coin in its protective acrylic capsule: direct handling or exposure to chemicals may damage the ruthenium plating and colour overlay.

The stated worldwide mintage is 400 pieces. The coin comes with presentation packaging and a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) or documentation issued by Pela Coins / Asturmint.
