In 2021, the Little Prince will celebrate his 75th birthday. Published first in the United States in 1943 and then in France in 1946, The Little Prince is Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's best-known work. "The Little Prince" is available in several languages: French, English, German and Japanese. This poetic and philosophical tale is an editorial phenomenon that is no less than the most widely read and best-known work of French literature in the world.
The obverse of the coin shows The Little Prince sitting on the Moon with his scarf flying in the wind. The title "The Little Prince" and the “RF” mention are also visible.
The reverse features the logo for the 75th anniversary of the Little Prince.
