Australia 2025 Rainbow Serpent 20c Gold-Plated Colour Coin and Deluxe Book

The Rainbow Serpent 50th anniversary deluxe coin and book

Celebrate 50 years since the publication of Dick Roughsey's The Rainbow Serpent with a gold-plated, coloured 2025 Australian 20c cupro-nickel coin. Presented in the cover of a deluxe special edition of the book, this version is distinct from the standard coin-and-book presentation.

Created by the Royal Australian Mint with the Children's Book Council of Australia for its Book Week series, the coin honours Roughsey's celebrated children's book. Roughsey was a Lardil artist from Mornington Island, and The Rainbow Serpent was first published in 1975.

This uncirculated Australian legal tender coin was not issued for circulation. The deluxe book presentation is limited to 3,000. Shop the Rainbow Serpent deluxe coin and book at FORTYMILLION.
