Australia 2025 50 Cents DOROTHEA MACKELLAR TREASURED AUSTRALIAN POETRY 3-Coin Al-Br Uncirculated Set

Gum trees, sweeping country and native birds bring Dorothea Mackellar’s poetry into relief across three Australian 50-cent coins. Each design takes its inspiration from a different poem: Dawn, My Country and The Colours of Light. Their warm aluminium-bronze tones complement the landscapes and fine natural details, with King Charles III’s portrait on the obverses.

The Royal Australian Mint’s 2025 Treasured Australian Poetry set pairs these Uncirculated coins with illustrated cards and a presentation sleeve bearing Mackellar’s portrait. With a mintage of 20,000 shown on each individual coin card, it offers collectors of Australian commemoratives and literary themes a thoughtful connection between verse and design.
