The front facing Kookaburra is additionally ennobled with black platinium on the beak and withe rhodium on the chest feathers, whereas the beak on the right-looking bird is partially gold-plated.

The obverse of the coin depicts the Coat of Arms of the Ivory Coast, and the inscriptions: “REPUBLIQUE DE COTE D’IVOIRE” – the issuing country, “2022” – the year of issue and “5,000 FRANCS CFA” – the face value.
