The reverse of the coin portrays Isis, an Egyptian goddess and an example of how the ideal woman was imagined in ancient times. She was considered the mother goddess of every Egyptian pharaoh and of Egypt itself, the goddess of fertility, revival and magic. She is represented as a woman with long straight hair with spread wings and surrounded by Egyptian symbols. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: “ELIZABETH II” – the name of the Queen, “NIUE” – the country of issue, “5 DOLLARS” – the face value, “2022” – the year of issue, and “Ag 999”- the fineness of the Silver.
